Will there be enough doctors, teachers and nurses to staff the hospitals and schools?

Much of Britain's staffing crisis is a housing crisis in disguise. Hospitals and schools around Cambridge struggle to recruit because the people they need can't afford to live within reach. Forest City reverses that: a nurse or newly qualified teacher priced out of Cambridge can own a home minutes from work.

We're also planning training capacity, not just recruitment — space is reserved for a teaching hospital, a further-education campus and nursing and teacher training, so the city grows the country's workforce rather than spreading it thinner.
