Won't a city of a million people bring crime to my village?

We understand why you'd expect that, but crime follows deprivation, bad design and absent services, not population size. Forest City is designed to the principles that make places safe: walkable streets where neighbours can see the street, genuinely affordable homes, jobs on the doorstep, and policing funded from day one alongside every other service.

The picture you might have in mind — the 1960s estates, homes dropped onto fields with no jobs, no transport and no services — is exactly the model we reject. Those places failed because everything except the housing came late or never. Here, infrastructure and employment come first, by design.
